Red Flags to Watch for Before You Buy

Most programs we review are real businesses that deliver real training. The problems usually lie in how they are sold and what they cost once you are inside. These are the warning signs that come up again and again:

• Weak or missing refunds. No refunds, or refunds that exclude the most expensive products, shift all the risk to you.

• An owner you can't identify. If you cannot find who runs a program, you cannot check their track record or hold them accountable.

Questions to Ask Before You Pay for Any Program

1. What is the total cost in the first year, including tools, traffic and any upgrades you will be offered?
2. What is the refund policy, in writing, for the exact product you are buying?
3. Who runs it, and can you verify their history?
4. How do members actually earn: from selling products customers want, or from recruiting other members?
5. What results are typical, not just the best testimonials?
6. How much time will it take each week, and how long before you can expect any results?

Where facts conflict between sources, we say so, and where a price or offer may have changed, we tell you when we last checked.
