USI Tech Review (2026): What Regulators Found About the 1%-a-Day Bitcoin Packages
On This Page
USI Tech in One Minute
USI-Tech Limited was a Dubai-based company that sold "BTC Packages," promising investors about 1% a day from automated crypto trading or bitcoin mining, plus referral commissions for recruiting others. It was incorporated on June 30, 2016 in the United Arab Emirates, according to South Carolina's order.
On December 20, 2017, the Texas State Securities Board entered an emergency cease-and-desist order against USI-Tech and two U.S. sales agents. North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina followed with their own orders.

What Regulators Said
- Texas (2017): USI-Tech promised "low-risk, triple-digit returns," with its site claiming returns of up to 150% a year, and told people the product was "certified legal" by the FTC, which Texas said has no role in registering such investments. Neither the company nor its agents were registered.
- North Carolina (2018): a temporary cease-and-desist order in February 2018 became final in April 2018, per South Carolina's order.
- Georgia (2018): ordered USI-Tech to stop offering securities in May 2018, per South Carolina's order.
- South Carolina (2020): found the BTC Packages were unregistered securities and noted that a 1% daily return compounds to over 3,000% a year, calling guaranteed returns like that "indicators of fraud, specifically Ponzi schemes." The South Carolina investor had received no funds since investing.
The Warning Signs

- Claims of government "certification."
- Pay-in with crypto only.
- Promoters who aren't registered to sell investments.
Check any investment seller with your state securities regulator, and see the CFTC's and SEC's guidance on crypto fraud before investing.
If You Invested
Keep records of your purchases and communications, and contact your state securities regulator. Be wary of "recovery" services that ask for upfront fees.
