Mistplay in One Minute
Mistplay is a loyalty app for mobile gamers. You download games from its list, play them through the app, and earn "units" for your playtime and levels. Units can be swapped for gift cards from brands such as Amazon, Google Play, Xbox, Walmart and prepaid Visa. There are no cash or PayPal payouts.
Mistplay is Android only and available in a number of countries, including the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. Gift cards have been reported to start at about $0.50 for Amazon and around $5 for others. It's legitimate, but the earnings are small unless you play a lot.
| App | Mistplay |
|---|---|
| Platform | Android only |
| Currency | Units |
| Rewards | Gift cards (Amazon, Google Play, Xbox, Walmart, prepaid Visa and more) |
| Cash or PayPal | No |
| Minimums | About $0.50 Amazon; about $5 for others (reported) |
| Availability | US, Canada, UK, Australia and more |
How You Earn Units
| Method | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Playtime | Earn as you play games launched through Mistplay |
| Levels and missions | Bonus units for progress in each game |
| Player level | Overall experience across games |
| Daily bonus | Play a few minutes a day for a week |
| Weekly contests | Compete for unit prizes |
| Referrals | Units when friends join and level up |
Always open games from Mistplay so your time is tracked. The app needs permission to see your usage to credit playtime.
Redeeming Units
- Build up units by playing.
- Choose a gift card in the Rewards tab.
- Check the units required.
- Redeem and receive the code by email or in the app.
Unit values vary by card. Small cards usually give worse value per unit than larger ones, so it often pays to save up.
What You Can Realistically Earn
Frequent players typically earn a few small gift cards a month. Contests can pay more, but winning is unlikely with millions of players. It's best seen as a bonus for gaming you'd do anyway.
Common Complaints
- Playtime not tracking when games aren't opened through the app.
- Slower earnings after the first hours in a game.
- Android only, with no iPhone version.
- No cash payouts.
Using a VPN breaks the terms and can get your account banned.

If You Love Games, Think Bigger
Gamers can build audiences around game guides, reviews or YouTube channels. A gaming blog started with LowFruits for keyword ideas and Koala AI for drafts can earn through ads and affiliate links over time, though it takes consistent work.
Is Mistplay Legit?
Yes. Mistplay is a real app with millions of downloads that pays in gift cards. Rewards are small, and it's Android only.
