Kennected is an Indianapolis sales technology company founded in 2018, led by cofounder and CEO Devin Johnson. It became known for software that automated outreach to prospects on LinkedIn. According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, it rebranded in 2024 as SalesAi Powered by Kennected, selling AI-generated calls, emails and texts for sales teams.

The LinkedIn Cease-and-Desist
In December 2022, the IBJ reported that LinkedIn sent Kennected a cease-and-desist letter alleging it scraped member profiles and offered tools that "impermissibly automate mass, inauthentic activity," in violation of LinkedIn's terms. LinkedIn asked it to stop and destroy LinkedIn data. Kennected's CEO said the company was "blindsided" and believed it was compliant.
Whatever tool you use, LinkedIn's user agreement restricts automated activity, and accounts that use automation risk restrictions.
The 2024 Creditor Lawsuit
The IBJ also reported that in November 2024 Ultimo Global Holdings sued Kennected in Marion Superior Court, alleging default on a $1 million promissory note and claiming damages of at least $841,779. Kennected's attorney said the company "strongly disputes the material allegations." We haven't seen the outcome reported.
