Our Quick Take

Clicks Dealer was an "ad flipping" platform. Members deposited money to buy online ad banners, which were supposedly placed on other websites. Members would earn when visitors clicked and bought, or could sell the ads back to the marketplace or at auction for a profit. The minimum deposit to activate an account was $250.

The Affiliate Doctor rated it 10 out of 100 and called it a scam. It reports complaints about unpaid commissions, former members who could not get their money back, and testimonials using fictitious identities. The company behind it, Clicks Revenue Ltd, was dissolved in July 2019, and the site has since disappeared. It was also the partner that "Digital Payday" sent people to. This review explains how it worked and how to recognize similar schemes.

How Ad Flipping Was Supposed to Work

  1. Deposit at least $250 to activate an account.
  2. Buy ad banners in categories such as automotive, fashion, electronics, beauty and cryptocurrency, priced from about $25 to $1,000.
  3. The ads are supposedly placed on third-party websites, and you earn when visitors click and buy.
  4. Resell your ads to the marketplace or at auction for a profit.
  5. Refer friends for up to $1,000 per referral.

Buyers had only seven seconds to cancel a purchase, and that bidders could lose to other bidders. It found no published return rates, and the higher packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond) had no published prices.

Why "Ad Flipping" Raises Red Flags

Real advertising works the other way around: businesses pay to show ads to their customers. In ad flipping schemes, members pay to buy ads that are said to earn on their own, then sell them on to other members. When returns come mainly from other members buying in, rather than from real advertising sales, the model depends on a constant flow of new money, and it tends to collapse when that slows.

Who Was Behind Clicks Dealer?

The Clicks Dealer website did not name the people running it. The Affiliate Doctor traced it to Clicks Revenue Ltd, a company with a listed London office, incorporated in January 2018. It names Konstantinos Vakanas and Stuart Ralph Poppleton as directors, and says Poppleton later resigned. Clicks Revenue Ltd was dissolved in July 2019. A platform that takes deposits but does not clearly say who runs it leaves members with little recourse when payments stop.

What It Cost

Complaints and Collapse

  • Complaints about non-payment of commissions.
  • Former members reporting they could not get money back after waiting months.
  • Testimonials using fictitious identities.
  • Clicks Revenue Ltd dissolved in July 2019, and the site disappeared.

The Affiliate Doctor's review of Digital Payday adds that Digital Payday originally routed sign-ups to Clicks Dealer, then switched to a forex broker after Clicks Dealer shut down.

Is Clicks Dealer a Scam?

The Affiliate Doctor calls it a scam. We found no regulator action against it by name, but the evidence points the same way: an opaque model, unpublished returns, a heavy emphasis on referrals, payment complaints and a dissolved company. If you lost money with Clicks Dealer, assume it is unlikely to be recovered, and be wary of anyone offering to "recover" it for a fee.

Pros and Cons

What Stands Out

  • None we could find

What to Weigh Up

  • $250 minimum deposit
  • No published returns or package prices
  • Heavy emphasis on referrals
  • Reports of unpaid commissions and lost deposits
  • Fictitious testimonials
  • Company dissolved in 2019

How to Spot Ad-Flipping Copycats

  • You must deposit money before you can "earn."
  • Profit comes from reselling to other members.
  • Returns are vague, and the higher packages hide their prices.
  • Referral rewards are large compared with the product.
  • The people behind it are hard to identify.

Who It Suited

Clicks Dealer did not suit anyone looking for real income. Schemes like it mainly benefit their operators and earliest members.
